KRC executed our third media campaign in 3 years for the vital healthy food incentives program, Market Match, which is improving low-income Californians health and diets while also helping small farmers across the state grow more crops and sell more food! Berkeley’s Ecology Center is leading the way with this innovative and successful program.
Our media campaign was a success! We are pleased to announce that Gov. Brown funded the CNIA for the Ecology Center! That means $5M in matching federal funds can come to CA to match the $5M invested by the state- a win win for farmers and low-income farmers market shoppers!!
Our team generated stories on AgNetWest Radio Network, which reaches more than 95% of the state’s agriculture-producing regions, as well as in the San Jose Mercury News, Daily Democrat, and Fresno Bee, among others.
